In this module learners will develop confidence in talking
about themselves and their immediate family, friends and
colleagues in both formal and informal settings. They will be
able to describe themselves and others and find out information
about other people.
2) Developing
everyday routines (pdf,

In this module learners will be
learning how to develop language routines for every day
activities. They will become versatile in using and reusing
language in a number of different ways for a variety of different
purposes. In this way they will be able to create a learning
environment in their classroom where talking French is the natural
thing to do.
3) Making
it happen (pdf, 79kb)
This module is rooted in the language
of the primary classroom. Learners will build on the
structures that they have been using in Modules 1 and 2 and
see how the language that they have already learned can be
adapted for use in their lessons. The versatility and
transferability of language is an underpinning principle of
language learning.
4) Relating
to others (pdf, 95kb)
This module is about social
interaction. Learners will develop their confidence in
expressing themselves in a range of situations both formal and
informal. They will be able to talk about what they think and
feel and justify their opinions. They will be able to initiate
conversation and encourage others to share their views. They
will develop the ability to offer advice and make
recommendations.
