Group visits
Groups of ten or more primary teachers and trainees
can arrange free information sessions and
library tours. We welcome groups with a whole range of primary
languages experience from those just starting out to lead teachers
and ASTs.
What does the visit
involve?
- A presentation and
guided tour from a member of the Information team
- your chance to discuss, ask questions and explore resources.
- A short workshop led by
one of CILT’s Primary Teaching Advisers, focusing on developing
skills to evaluate and choose the most suitable resources.
When can I come?
The library is open 10:30 to 17:00, Monday to
Friday (including school holidays). However, we will happily
arrange late afternoon and evening visits to accommodate groups
visiting after school.
If you are a Local Authority adviser or ITE
primary languages tutor booking on behalf of a group of teachers or
trainees, you can choose whether to accompany the group
yourself.
