The (Department for Children Schools and Families)
DCSF non-statutory guidelines for teaching primary languages. The
Framework provides comprehensive guidance and advice for teachers
and leaders who will plan and deliver the Key Stage 2 entitlement
to language learning.
The Framework has three parts: Parts 1 and 2, published
October 2005, and Part 3, published April 2007. All three are
available to download below:

KAL

relate to these
objectives, and some sample teaching activities.

Part 3 -

Detailed guidance on whole-school planning, and provides
planning tools and detailed explanations of how to embed language
learning through cross-curricular links.
