CILT is running four one-day national conferences to support LAs, teacher trainers and HE providers in developing language upskilling courses for primary teachers based on the Language Upskilling Specification published in October 2009.

The events will take place in Bristol, Birmingham, London and Manchester in June and July.

These free training events will look in detail at the Language Upskilling Specification and focusing on exemplification materials in French, German and Spanish produced by the writing team at CILT.

Invitations will be sent to LA Advisers, Initial Teacher Training institutions, University Language Centres and other colleagues in HE.
